Cultivate Empowers the Entire Horticulture Industry
AmericanHort is proud to welcome horticulture professionals to Cultivate’20. Unlike for-profit trade shows, Cultivate proceeds go back to the industry through programs and services developed to make horticulture businesses more successful.
Registration is on a first-come, first served basis and subject to change.
Space in the educational sessions, tours, etc. may be limited and are subject to room capacity and Public Safety codes that are beyond the control of AmericanHort. Some events may have their times and dates changed or be canceled due to matters beyond the control of AmericanHort and any affiliated host organization(s). AmericanHort will make every effort to notify you in advance of changes and any applicable refunds or price adjustments. By registering for Cultivate you are agreeing to the full Registration & Cancellation Policy on this page.

Pre-Registration begins on February 10 and continues through February 21, 2020.
Hotel booking for those who pre-register begins on March 2 and continues through March 6, 2020. Regular registration and hotel booking combined begins on March 10, 2020. If you participate in pre-registration, your main contact in the registration system will receive an email with your hotel selection date and instructions for how to book hotel reservations. Assigned hotel booking dates cannot be changed.
After pre-registration closes on February 21, additional attendees cannot be registered until general registration opens on March 10.

Confirmations for any registration received via mail or fax will be sent from Experient within 2-4 business days of processing.
Member Pricing To receive member pricing, membership must be paid and in good standing at the time of registration. Membership can be purchased or renewed during the registration process.
Children are required to be registered if attending Cultivate. Children 16 and under receive complimentary registration for entrance to the Cultivate Trade Show. Educational sessions, workshops, and tours are intended for those age 16 and older and require additional purchase.
Substitutions can be made without charge. In lieu of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person without additional charge. Contact Experient at TBA to update the registration to a new person.
Registration cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail, postal mail, or fax. A refund will be given for cancellations made prior to June 17, 2020 but may take four to six weeks to process. Cancellations after June 17 will not be refunded. In most cases, in lieu of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person without additional charge.
Registering for an AmericanHort event constitutes an agreement between you and AmericanHort. Upon registering, you agree to pay all fees in a timely manner, adhere to this cancellation policy, and adhere to professional conduct during the meeting. Regardless of when and if you pay your fees this cancellation policy applies. Furthermore, you are ultimately responsible for your fees even if another party (such as your employer) has expressed its intent to pay them on your behalf. The performance of the agreement by AmericanHort may be affected by force majeure (including but not limited to acts of God, acts of war or other acts of enemies, government regulation, disaster, strikes, floods, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, or other emergency or event beyond the control of the parties), thus making it inadvisable, unsafe, illegal, or impossible to provide required accommodations and/or meeting facilities, hold the meeting, or travel to the meeting. In the event of force majeure, AmericanHort may terminate the agreement upon providing written notice by email or other means to the other party without penalty or obligation. Such right of termination shall not be unreasonably exercised. In addition, AmericanHort reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to cancel the event and any affiliated events. In that case, AmericanHort shall refund to you all registration fees it has received from you for this meeting but shall have no further obligation to you of any type, whether monetary or otherwise. Accordingly, AmericanHort shall in no event have any liability to you and shall have no other obligation to you of any type except as expressly stated in the preceding sentence. Such right of termination shall not be unreasonably exercised. AmericanHort and any affiliated host organization(s) are not responsible for errors or omissions on any website.
Conference Badges are printed on-site by scanning the QR code in your confirmation email or by entering your last name. Badges are required to be worn for admittance to the trade show, educational sessions, tours and workshops.

You Must Be Registered
You must be registered for Cultivate’20 in order to reserve a hotel room within the AmericanHort block.
Hotel Booking Dates
Hotel Booking Dates for pre-registered attendees are determined by membership or exhibitor level and unfortunately the assigned dates cannot be changed. If rooms cannot be selected on the assigned day, the next opportunity will be on March 10, 2020
First Come, First Serve
Hotel and room selections are on a first come, first-served basis and subject to change. Failure to receive your preferred hotel does not constitute an error. AmericanHort is not responsible should a hotel room type not be available at check-in.

Hotel Cutoff Reservations
Hotel Cutoff Reservations can be made through the Cultivate Housing Provider (Experient) between March 5 and June 17, 2020. After June 17, reservations can be made directly with the hotel(s) based on availability.
Hotel Deposits. A non-refundable one-night room and tax deposit will be charged by the hotels prior to check-in. Deposits will be charged to the credit card entered at the time of reserving the hotel and will be processed between June 17 – 24, 2020.
Hotel Rooms Conversion Requests
Hotel rooms conversion requests from previously booked rooms at a higher rate to the discounted Cultivate rate will not be honored.
Cancelling Your Hotel Reservation
Hotel cancellation requests must be made in writing by mail, fax, or e-mail by May 20, 2020. Requests received after May 20, 2020 will be charged a one-night room and tax cancellation fee.
AmericanHort is not responsible for hotel fees charged for no-shows, early departures, or other hotel fees.
Changes to your reservation
Prior to 9 a.m. EDT on June 17, 2020 changes can be made online, by email Cultivate@experient-inc.com, by phone 844-339-6338 or by fax 888-772-1888.
After 9 a.m. EDT on June 17, 2020 changes must be made directly with your hotel.
Photo policy. AmericanHort photographs meetings and events for the use in association advertising, newsletters, and other promotion materials, whether in print, electronic, or other media, including websites and e-communications. Registration and attendance and/or participation at Cultivate constitutes an agreement by the registrant with AmericanHort to use and distribute (both now and in the future) the registrant’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
People requiring special accommodations to attend or participate in Cultivate (including rental of a motorized cart/wheelchair) can contact Greater Columbus Convention Center, Guest Service Center at 614-827-2500 for rental information. Non-Compete Rule prohibits individuals or companies from scheduling any receptions, hospitality suites, social functions, exhibits, product demonstrations, technical seminars, training sessions, or other events or functions during the Cultivate educational conference and exhibit hours.
Video and Audio Taping
Video and Audio Taping of educational sessions is not permitted. Permission is required to video or audio tape other areas of the event. Please contact us at 614-487-1117 to discuss your request.
Although every reasonable effort is made to provide the most current listing of speakers, topics, and sessions, some changes or substitutions may occur. Speakers and sessions are subject to cancellation up to and including the day session(s) are scheduled to be held. Changes or cancellations are made at the discretion of AmericanHort and may be done without notifying attendees. If sessions are changed or canceled, no refunds should be expected.
Shuttles will run from hotels to the Convention Center each day of Cultivate. Please check at your hotel for the designated pick-up point and shuttle times. All shuttles will depart the Convention Center from the Transportation Zone in the Connector (between the Convention Center and Hyatt Regency.) The following hotels have shuttles to the Convention Center:

- Green Route – Columbus Renaissance, Hotel LeVeque
- Orange Route – Holiday Inn, DoubleTree, Courtyard by Marriott
- Purple Route – Marriott OSU, Hampton OSU, Hilton Garden Inn OSU
