  • Is there an official housing partner for Cultivate'20?

    Experient is the official Cultivate'20 housing partner. Please be aware that Experient is the only approved housing partner for Cultivate'20. Any others claiming to offer exclusive Cultivate'20 hotel rates are scams.

  • How are hotel booking times determined?

    Once you've registered during the pre-registration period, hotel booking dates are determined by membership level and exhibitor level. Dates are assigned based on:

    • AmericanHort Premium Membership

    • Top 50 exhibitors based on sponsorship and booth size

    • AmericanHort Plus Membership

    • AmericanHort Basic Membership

    • All non-AmericanHort members

  • I've received my hotel booking email. Is there a priority of who can book first on the day I've been assigned?

    No, all registrants within each category (Premium Members; Top 50 exhibitors; AmericanHort Plus and Basic members; Non-AmericanHort members) can book your hotels on a first-come, first-serve basis on the date specified in your hotel booking email. Dates have been assigned and prioritized based on membership and to alleviate overwhelming system congestion experienced in previous years.

  • How do I become an AmericanHort member or upgrade my membership?

    To join AmericanHort click “Become a Member” below.  If you’re already a member and would like to upgrade your membership, please call us at 614-487-1117.  You can also purchase a new membership during the Cultivate registration process.

     

  • Can I be guaranteed my hotel of choice?

    Unfortunately, it's impossible for us to guarantee all 10,000 attendees their first hotel room of choice. We do have blocks of rooms set aside for each group of registrants. Registering during the pre-registration period gives you the best opportunity for securing your top hotel pick. Please remember that since hotels have limited space, opportunity does not guarantee final outcome.

  • Why does the pre-registration period involve a two-step process to register and book hotel rooms?

    We’ve created a two-step process to eliminate the system congestion that causes web pages to load slower, longer wait times and increased queuing. Plus, a specific time to book your hotel lets you know exactly when you'll be able to complete your hotel bookings without needing to disrupt your whole day just to do so.

  • Am I at a disadvantage if I register after March 10?

    You'll still be able to register for Cultivate at the same prices as those who register during the pre-registration period and reserve a hotel room. There may be fewer hotel choices, but great rooms will still be available at a favorable rate.

  • Is there a pricing difference depending on when I register?

    Register anytime before June 17 for the best rates. Rates will increase after June 17. See rates and registration packages.

  • Can one person register and book hotels for multiple people?

    Absolutely. Please note: only 15 rooms per hotel can be booked by the same company at each of the following hotels: Hilton, Hyatt, and Crowne Plaza. Only one person per company at a time can book multiple hotel rooms.

  • Are registrations refundable?

    Registration cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail to cultivate@experient-inc.com or fax to 888-772-1888. A refund will be given for cancellations made prior to June 17, 2020 but may take four to six weeks to process. Cancellations after June 17 will not be refunded. In most cases, in lieu of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person without additional charge.

    Substitutions can be made without charge. In lieu of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person without additional charge. Contact Experient at cultivate@experient-inc.com or 844-339-6338 to update the registration to a new person.

  • Can I upgrade my registration package after I've already registered?

    Yes, you can upgrade your package at any time and also add on additional experiences like tours, workshops, or the Women in Horticulture event.

  • What do I do if I've registered but haven't received my confirmation email?

    In order to ensure that email from Experient, the registration and housing partner for Cultivate'20. If you have not received your confirmation email, please email us. cultivate@experient-inc.com

  • Is there a place to check luggage at the convention center?

    Luggage check is provided for the convenience of our attendees at $3 per bag. Stop by the Eisenmann Room at the top of the triple escalators to drop off your luggage at the times below.
    Sunday, July 12, 2020 – 7am–6pm
    Monday, July 13, 2020 – 7am–6pm
    Tuesday, July 14, 2020 – 7am–3pm

  • Is there a shuttle to the hotels?

    Yes, complimentary shuttles will run from the hotels to the Convention Center each day of Cultivate. Please check at your hotel for the designated pick-up point and shuttle times. All shuttles will depart from the Convention Center from the Transportation Zone. The following hotels have shuttles to the Convention Center:
    Coral Route: Sheraton on Capital Square, Westin
    Green Route: Columbus Renaissance, Hotel LeVeque
    Orange Route: Holiday Inn, Double Tree, Courtyard by Marriott
    The Shuttle Schedule is:
    Saturday – 6:30 AM – 8 PM, Sunday – 7AM – 8 PM, Monday 7 AM – 8 PM, Tuesday, 7 AM – 4 PM
