Hotel and Attendee Cultivate'24 Phishing Scams
We have been made aware of several new Cultivate’24 Hotel and Attendee List Phishing Scams.
We want to remind you that the official, exclusive housing partner for Cultivate’24 is Maritz Global Events. Please only book rooms through AmericanHort and our official housing company for Cultivate’24, Maritz Global Events. The Cultivate’24 hotel block will be available to make reservations in March 2024 as part of the Pre-Registration period. Participants who register during the Pre-Registration period will be assigned a day to secure hotel rooms.
Cultivate’24 registration will take place as follows:
- February 12 – 23: Pre-Registration period
- March 4 – 8: Pre-Registration hotel booking takes place - Those who register during the Pre-Registration period will receive an email after February 28th with an assigned day to secure hotel rooms.
- March 12: General Registration opens for anyone who did not pre-register. Hotel reservations may be made at the same time as conference registration.
- June 19: Registration rates increase and hotel booking changes must be made directly with the hotel.
WARNING: If you receive communication soliciting your hotel registration outside the above-stated timing, this is a scam. Please be sure you are securing hotel reservations through Maritz and via the Cultivate website. Website access for Cultivate’24 registration will be available in early February 2024.
Why is it important to reserve hotels through Maritz, AmericanHort’s housing partner?
- AmericanHort works with hotels in downtown Columbus to secure favorable hotel rates to help save you money on your hotel needs while at Cultivate’24.
- Reserving hotels through Maritz will prevent you from being the victim of fraudulent hotel reservations.
- Only through the Maritz system you can book, modify, or cancel your hotel reservations.
- Downtown hotels set aside hotel space specifically for Cultivate’24, ensuring you access to convenient accommodations.

- Maritz Global Events: registration, housing, and lead retrieval partner
- Safeguard your communications by whitelisting Cultivate@Maritz.com
- Fern: service contractor/show decorator (OneView portal)
- Map Your Show: event software provider and online show directory sales
- Bartha: audio-visual partner
Additionally, AmericanHort does not sell the Cultivate attendee list and does not authorize any third party vendors to do so. Do not trust any outside vendors that contact you to purchase attendee lists.
